GREAT SEATS. SUPER LOUD !

We saw Sesame Street show on January 27 at the Fox. The seats in the balcony were great since we were high enough to see. The storyline was hard to follow for yiunger kids. And there could have been fewer real actors and more characters since thats what the kids want to see. The sound was extremely loud !!! Even for adults it was very loud - enough that it often shook the floor. Our grandson eventually covered his ears and hid behind the seats - popping up occasionally like a mole. Many children around us seemed afraid as well. It really was a shame that the sound was so loud since it detracted from the show. Probably something the venue would like to look into

SESAME STREET DISAPPOINTS

The only thing that keeps me from completely trashing the show was that those performers we saw in the Bridgeport Connecticut version clearly you were trying to make the best of a terrible script. As a professional in the children’s industry, I can state pretty confidently that the who is responsible for the concept ring and script writing have very little understanding of the abilities, attention spans, and interest levels of toddlers. That parents should suffer through a mediocre program given the cost is one thing. But then to see such garbage shoveled out under the sesame Street brand was disheartening. For example, not one of the performers made it beyond the most expensive ticket area, The product vendors had no such difficulty. I don’t think there were more than 12 people in the entire production. The size of the props could barely be seen in the first row of the mezzanine. The magic gags were trite. The choreography was high school caliber. At no point during the show did the audience show great enthusiasm, surprise, or a willingness to get involved. I would have liked to offer more positive feedback but I’m afraid that would’ve been entirely dishonest at least from my perspective. I would not take any other grandchild to the show at half the price. Someone is taking advantage of the Sesame Street brand and that is unfortunate.

NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS LAST YEAR

we saw this show last year and it was great but this year it was not even close. not enough of the characters which is what the little ones are here to see. very little interaction with the audience. didn't even do songs from the TV show that kids would be familiar with. the fox theater is a great venue but this year's production was not.
